Welcome to One Truth!Purpose:
One Truth has many goals. One purpose is to spread the one solid truth of this world: that there is one God and he's the only one who can save us. The internet is an amazing forum for all sorts of topics, and God shouldn't be excluded from that. So our purpose is to bring you the unspoiled word of God through literature and visual art.
Our second purpose is helping those who have questions about God and the Bible. Whether you are a die-hard Jesus Freak or a devoted atheist, it doesn't matter. If you have a question or a challenge, we hope to meet it head-on.
Our third and most important purpose is this: To save! We ourselves can't save you, nothing we say ourselves can save you. We're just tools in God's hands. God has given you the choice to accept his gift of salvation, and we want to prompt you to accept it. We also want to be a reliable aide to you as you walk the Christian path.
Our Beliefs:
1.God made the world in six literal days, and rested on the seventh.
2.People fell from grace and human beings aren’t perfect.
3.Jesus saved us when he died on the cross.
4.No one can save themselves, only God’s grace can save.
Rules:
1. Respect! We're Christian, not dumb, we know that we're going to get hate-mail for this. We know we'll be flamed to death. So this rule isn't for the flamers, it's for the members. If you see someone flaming this club, please respect them. God says to correct with love, turn the other cheek, and most importantly to love our neighbors. So if you see a flame, either ignore it or kindly answer any questions they've got.
2. Don't fight among yourselves. Let's set a good example for the rest of the internet, shall we?
3. You can submit anything you want as long as it's relevant to God. Art, stories, essays, poems, songs, the sky is the limit. Be aware though that every submission will be looked over and only submitted if the content meets certain standards, which will be discussed later.
4. You don't have to be a Christian to join. If you've just got an interest in the materials posted here, that's fine. Hopefully you'll be inspired to come to Christ through these works.
Joining:
1. Send a note saying two things:
A. You want to join.
B. If you want your membership to be public or private. If you don't specify, we'll assume you want a public membership.
We understand that this club will be under a lot of pressure from nonbelievers of all sorts. We respect that some members don't want to deal with that. If you don't then just say so and we won't post your icon on the members list. Likewise, you don't have to link to us anywhere in your own journal or signature if you don't want to. 2. Watch us. You don't have to be a member to do that though.
Becoming a supporter:
In this club, a supporter will be something like a deacon in a normal church. They'll help us mods keep this club running, even when we're tragically busy. They'll also be people members can go to if they need help with anything, spiritual and emotional issues alike. Don't be afraid to ask a supporter for help, and you can be sure that it will all be kept confidential!
To to become a supporter you've gotta have certain characteristics:
1. Must be Christian
2. Must know the basics of the Bible, at the least.
It would be best if you perhaps have an area of expertise, such as having in-depth knowledge of creationism or knowing a lot about a certain book. Having a specialty isn't necessary though. However if you do have one, tell us what it is and it will be mentioned next to your name on the list! 3. Must be a public member. You can't help anyone if they don't know who to ask for help, right?
To become a supporter just send a note after you've joined saying you want to be one. State an area of expertise if you have one. You will be asked to answer some questions before being accepted as a supporter.

Submitting:
1. Send a note with a link to your submission, or a note with the submission itself in it. If you don't want to post a submission to your own dA, then just do that.
2. Once again be aware that the mods will be reading over submissions first, and if a majority ruling says that it can't be posted then it can't be.
3. In your note state whether or not you want people to comment at your deviantart or at the community.
4. The submitting standards are as follows:
God must be the main focus, or at the very least one of the focuses of a work. It must be compatible with scripture! If a submission goes against scripture it can't be posted here. Bad language will not be accepted unless it's being used to illustrate a point (i.e. to show that it's vulgar, or something to that effect.) Sexual Content is an absolute no. If you've got people doing the dirty, it can't be here. However, if you're submitting an essay on the topic itself (such as premarital sex, adultery, etc.) that's acceptable. Mods:
